New York skate camps offer your child an organized environment that allows beginner to advanced skaters to safely improve their skating skills while learning discipline and respect for their surroundings.

At New York skating camps kids work on physical fitness, overall coordination, and respect for their peers. In turn, this teaches New York kids to have a better skating relationship with their community and reinforces important lessons of understanding and compromise your kids will benefit from throughout life.

Summer camps throughout the country and especially in New York have embraced the growing popularity of skating as a sport and have started offering summer skating programs.

    French Woods offers summer camp programs in dance, theatre, music, circus, magic, visual arts, film and theater, video, sports, tennis, fitness, waterfront, skate board, rock and roll and horseback riding. We cater to children from 7-17 years old. Younger campers have more guidance and supervision, while older campers are able to take on some responsibility and have a chance to work in the areas of their interest. Campers are able to focus on one or various areas of interest. We also offer traditional camp activities that can be chosen a-la-carte. We are located on a private lake in the Western Catskill Mountains of New York near the Delaware River on the Pennsylvania Border.
